I was suggested this place by my hotel. After reading the polarizing reviews. It made me curious.
So we came to the Riverwalk. It took a little while to find it. But, once we were in the area, it was not too difficult.
I was between a three and four star review. On the side of four stars, the pizza was good. Sure, it's pizza by the slice. You go into knowing they are going to throw it in the oven to warm up. But, overall it was nice.
Service is what made it go down to three. They were quick to assist, but awkward to get the food. We paid, awkwardly stood there waiting for the food. Then, once received, awkwardly stood there to get some parmesan and red pepper on my pizza.
All and all, ok experience. -

How in the world does this place stay open?? I was here for a conference and was looking for a quick dinner after a long day. Considering the options in the food court at river center (taco Bell? Dairy Queen? Blimpie?? Chinese?) I figured this was my best bet. Even with low expectations, I was still disappointed.
I opted for a pineapple ham hawiian stuffed pizza slice and a side of pasta. I knew the pizza would be reheated in the oven. I had no idea that the pasta would be placed in a foam to go container, AND THEN HEATED IN A MICROWAVE?!! uhhhh, foam is not supposed to be heated in a microwave, as it releases toxic chemicals that are then ingested with your food. Besides that, how do they get away with microwaving food and selling it? That went untouched, so I can't comment on the taste.
The pizza was on the very mediocre side of mediocre. Sauce came on the side, and tastes like sauce right out of the can. No real flavor and had a weird metallic taste, like the inside of a can. The pizza itself was barely warm, the cheese wasn't even melted. Overall, a waste of time and calories lol. Steer clear. -

There is an express version in the food court but the sit down restaurant is closed. -

I got the Pepperoni Roll here. I must say that I was impressed with it. I have gotten it before other places and it was all pepperoni and no cheese and that wasn't the case here. It was the perfect mix of cheese and pepperoni. I would for sure go back here. Keep in mind this is a New York Style pizza place where they have the pizza sitting around and reheat it for you. So if you want fresh pizza ask them to cook you your own pie.

Pizza by the slice in the mall food court. It was ok, but I have just never been a fan of pizza by the slice. It is usually prepared and they heat up a slice for you - same story at this place.
I would eat there again, but I wouldn't make a special effort to go out of my way. All in all, it was a quality pizza though.
